Sebastien's T120 by Macco Motors
By Ross Sharp - 21 Feb 18
Despite being 1500 miles away in southern Spain Jose & Tito from Macco Motors have built a strong customer base right here in London. Their formula is a popular one and with Triumph doing such a good job of offering catalogue custom parts folk are looking further afield for a touch of individuality. For a background on the duo and to see their extensive archive of builds check here.
This 2016 T120 café-brat was built for Sebastien, a London resident wanting a completely blacked-out look. Macco have developed a whole host of components including side panels, mudguards, subframe and leather upholstered saddle which stands out from the crowd with its subtle kick-up at the rear. Combined with choice parts from Rizoma and LSL clipons Seb's Bonnie looks more classic 900 Thruxton than the latest water-cooled High Torque 1200.
The rectifier and ignition have been relocated for neatness and rear lighting is a single LED strip frenched-in to the rear loop. Tyres appear matching but are in fact a Metzeler Tourance in the rear and a Dunlop F20 up front. The soundtrack comes courtesy of British Customs and their Predator exhaust. Hagon Nitro shocks on the rear should work much better than the slightly soft originals.
