White Hot '72 Bonnie
By Anthony van Someren - 15 Jun 12
We came across this white hot little Bonnie on ebay, and it was obvious from just looking at the photos that this was a serious build and deserved to be seen - and celebrated - by as many people as possible.
We got in touch with Kevin Dunworth at Loaded Gun customs in Selbyville, Delaware, and told him we just had to share his work.
As soon as you start reading the Loaded Gun website there's a lotta talk about breaking rules, and fine lines between right and wrong, good and bad, etc, so it's no surprise that these guys like to break the mold, and don't do anything by half. White pipes and cylinder barrels are a first for me, and I really like it, alongside the tank and headlight bucket. (white spring and grips anyone?)
The subframe looks about as simple and uncluttered as I've ever seen on a bike like this, and you have to wonder where they've hidden the battery - even assuming it's a tiny LiFePo unit. We assume it's that black rectanle under the swinger?
So if you're sitting there reading this and drolling at the corners of your mouth just a little, then the good news is that this bike is for sale on ebay in the US - so get bidding.
