Streets of Philadelphia

There are a lot of CB500-based customs out there, but this one is a peach and comes out of Steel Bent Customs in Florida who are quickly establishing themselves as purveyors of quality customs and builders with taste as well as the skills to build a solid machine.
This particular little stunner was commissioned to spend her days cruising the streets of Philly and in orange & chrome she'll certainly bring some colour to the city.
The 1971 donor machine came from Jason & Herm at Dime City Cycles, where it had been on the bench awaiting an engine rebuild when the owner decided he might want to sell-up instead.
Once the machine was in Steel Bent's shop, Micheal & Co opted for Loaded Gun rearsets, a custom 4 into 1 exhaust, Clubman bars, Shinko tires, Lances wrapped the seat, and the client chose the hot orange color for the tank.
This is the kind of biking simplicity we love on the Shed. Built to ride, and follow's the old-school engineer's philosophy of, "what looks right, is right".
We look forward to seeing (and showing) loads more from Steel Bent in the future. Thanks to Michael Mundy for the pics and info.
Do visit Steel Bent Customs website and check out more of what they do.
